At Piedmont Arthritis Clinic we know that managing your care includes understanding your insurance and financial responsibilities. Our team is here to help make that process as smooth as possible so you can focus on what matters most – your health.
Insurance Participation
We accept many commercial and Medicare Advantage insurance plans but not all.
If your insurance plan has out of network benefits, and we are not in network, we can still see you but it will be at a higher cost than an in network provider. You may be required to pay for your visit upfront.

Important Notes
- We are unable to accept patients with Medicaid Primary or Medicaid HMO/MCP.
- We do not accept Workers’ Compensation.
Payment Information
We collect any applicable co-pays or co-insurance at the time of your visit. Please bring your current insurance card(s) and a photo ID with you to every appointment.
If you are not prepared to pay at the time of service and have not made prior arrangements, your visit may need to be rescheduled.
We accept the following forms of payment:

Good Faith Estimates
A Good Faith Estimate is currently required by law for uninsured and self-pay patients. While insured patients
can request a cost estimate, the formal GFE requirements for them have been delayed.
