On-Site IV Drug Infusion Suite

Piedmont Arthritis Clinic houses an on-site IV drug infusion suite for the convenience of its patients.

The suite is open during normal clinic operating hours and can accommodate up to 12 patients at one time.

Conditions treated with IV infusion include Ankylosing Spondylitis, Juvenile Rhuematoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Rhuematoid Arthritis, Lupus and Gout.

Frequency of IV drug therapy depends on which one you are given.

For example, after the initial IV infusion, you may be asked to return after two weeks, then every eight weeks after that.

IV medications for arthritis can slow down progression of the disease by 40 percent to 70 percent depending on which drug is used.

Typically, results are realized after three months with continued improvement up to two years later.

Early and/or late appointments for infusion are available upon request, and subject to availability, to accommodate our patients.
