Piedmont Arthritis has been and is currently involved in many investigational drug studies.
Open studies include:
ASLeap – A Study for Ankylosing Spondylitis
The ASLeap study is a voluntary clinical research study of adults who have been diagnosed with moderate to severe ankylosing spondylitis (AS). The main purpose of the study is to help researchers determine the safety and benefit of a drug.
The study will also look at sleeping patterns and daily activity levels using a waterproof, non-intrusive, sleep-wake activity monitor worn on the wrist.
Why Should you Participate?
During this one-year study, the information participants provide will help doctors better understand how the investigational drug affects patients who have been diagnosed with AS. During the study, participants will receive:
- Individual care and assessments from a specialized health care provider
- Study medicine and study-related medical care at no charge
Participation in this study is voluntary. If you qualify and sign up for the study and subsequently decide you no longer want to take part, you can stop at any time.
